Review a period
Open Reports, choose a preset or custom date range, and review income, expenses, categories and trends. Check the selected personal or household scope before comparing totals.
Posted spending uses the conversion recorded for each transaction. Voided entries and reversals are excluded from ordinary totals; transfers and private-loan movements are not new income or spending.
Spending and current value answer different questions
Historical spending uses the recorded reporting conversion. Current asset values use the latest maintained reference rate and may be approximate, stale or unavailable. Neither is your bank’s settlement quote. Original currency balances remain separate.
Read refunds and budgets correctly
A merchant refund is recorded as incoming money in ordinary flow totals. Monthly category budgets explicitly subtract refunds received in that month from expenses; a later refund does not reopen the purchase month’s budget.
The comparison period is an equal-length preceding date range, not necessarily the previous calendar month.
Reports reflect your entries. They are not official bank statements or tax records.
