Income and expenses
Select the account, amount, date and category when you add a transaction. You can add a description, tags, a necessity rating or a receipt to make it easier to understand later. The transaction list supports search and filters.
Receipt image quality
Dashboard and Mobile optimize receipt images by default: longest edge 1280px, WebP quality 70, without enlarging small images. PDF files remain unchanged. Wait for attachment processing to finish before saving. If an upload fails, retry it or remove it; failed attachments are not silently omitted.
Solo and Family users can enable Upload original images in Dashboard Settings → Privacy or Mobile Profile. This choice is saved to your account and applies to subsequent uploads on both clients. Originals use more storage and may retain embedded location metadata. Supported originals are JPEG, PNG and WebP, up to 10 MiB each. If paid access expires, subsequent images are optimized until access returns; existing files do not change. Household attachments count against the uploader’s own storage quota, not the household owner’s quota.
Move money between your accounts
Use Transfer when money moves from one tracked account to another. A transfer changes two balances but is not new income or an expense. For a credit-card payment, use the card’s payment flow after paying the issuer.
Correct a posted amount
Descriptions, categories and tags can be edited. Monetary fields remain locked after posting. If an amount or account is wrong, void the transaction, optionally add a reason, then record the correct one. The original and reversal remain available when you include voided records in the list.
Why transfers are not spending · How voiding and reversals work
Record an actual currency exchange
For an exchange, enter the source currency amount and destination currency amount actually exchanged. Different currencies can use the same account. Include any fees in those actual amounts; this workflow does not require a separate exchange-fee entry.
Spending deducts the selected account’s balance in that currency. If a THB card issuer settles a foreign purchase in THB, record the actual settled THB amount rather than inventing a USD balance or a live settlement rate.
